Three groups mean three times the rinse water, three times the backflushing, three times the coffee residue – and it all ends up in this tray. In the ABR version, there is also weighing under the groups, which is why the tray is built differently from the one on the standard machine.
Anyone who looks after a machine like this knows the picture: limescale builds up at the seams, coffee oils form a layer that won't come off, and at some point corrosion appears. Then the only fix is a replacement. Part number C.1.206.3.
A replacement is due when:
| Type | Drain tray |
|---|---|
| Installation location | Under the groups, in the base of the machine |
| Fits | La Marzocco Linea PB ABR, 3-group |
| Scope of delivery | One drain tray |
| Part number | C.1.206.3 |
| Version | Original manufacturer part, ABR version |
| Installation | Installation by a qualified professional recommended |
| Brand | La Marzocco |
The tray sits inside the machine between water-carrying lines and, on the ABR version, is connected to the weighing unit. We do not provide step-by-step instructions for this. The replacement belongs in a workshop that disconnects the machine from the power and water supply, then checks the connections for leaks and recalibrates the scale.
For businesses with a 3-group Linea PB ABR and for service partners replacing a corroded tray as part of a full overhaul. The exact version matters: the number of groups and ABR must match, otherwise the tray will not fit.
The other parts in the series are listed under La Marzocco Linea PB spare parts, the full range under La Marzocco accessories and spare parts. We stock the 2-group version as Drain tray Linea PB 2-group. Cleaners are available under Machine and grinder cleaning.
From our workshop in Bern and Zurich
On machines with a scale under the group, we make sure the tray is never used as a lever when cleaning – push hard against it once and the weight readings will scatter for days. That is our experience from the workshop, not a manufacturer specification. After calibration we pull a test series, usually with Nutty Delight, for milk coffee with Cozy Chocolate and for dense crema with Very Nutty. The selection is under Coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Service parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a test fit on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we'll work out the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
It is the manufacturer's version designation for this machine variant. If you're not sure whether your PB is one of them, send us the serial number.
No. We stock a separate part for two groups.
As a rule, yes. The workshop takes care of this in the same job.
C.1.206.3. If you have this number from a service document, you're in the right place.
