The drip tray grate is the part of the machine that gets handled the most and noticed the least. Every cup lands on it, every rinse runs through it, and at closing time it is lifted out, knocked out and washed. This flat version is made of wire and covers the drip tray of the Linea PB with two groups.
You can tell that a grate is due better from the side than from above: the wire surface is no longer level and sags in the middle, where heavy milk jugs have been set down for years. Cups then tip slightly and the surface feels unsteady. The part number of this item is C.1.237.2.
The grate no longer lies flat and rocks. Individual wires are bent or broken at a weld. The surface shows rust spots that can no longer be removed. Or cups stand crooked because the surface has sunk in the middle.

From our workshop
In Bern and Zurich we take the grates out in the evening and stand them on edge to dry instead of putting them back into the tray wet. Standing water between grate and tray is what causes the rust spots – this is our routine, not a manufacturer requirement, but it visibly keeps the grates looking good for longer. And what looks best on a freshly cleaned grate: Nutty Delight or Cozy Chocolate, for strong milk drinks Very Nutty. The full selection is under Coffee beans.
No returns
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or trial fitting on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we'll clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
No. For three groups the number is C.1.237.3. The grates differ in length and are not interchangeable.
They are two different items for the Linea PB. C.1.237.2 is the flat wire version for two groups, C.1.157.3 a drip tray grate for three groups. How the design differs in detail is not stated in our documentation – if in doubt, the number on your old part decides.
No, only the grate is supplied. The tray underneath is a separate item.
The dimensions are not documented to us, so we don't state any. What matters is the number of groups on your machine and the number C.1.237.2.
