Wiedemann ECM Brew Lever Olive
With every shot the lever sits in your hand: olive wood instead of plastic, topped by the chrome end cap you know from ECM.
Wiedemann lists the part as a brew group lever for ECM espresso machines. The shaft is turned from solid olive wood, the end cap is an original ECM part. The lever is fitted via an M8 internal thread.
The lever does not change extraction, it changes how pulling a shot feels. We brew espresso by weight and usually start at 1:2, so 18 g of coffee to around 36 g of espresso in the cup. Our opinion is one of many, what matters is that you enjoy it.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Wiedemann brew lever fit my ECM?
Wiedemann offers the lever for ECM espresso machines, with M8 internal thread and original ECM end cap. The manufacturer does not publish a model list. Send us your model before buying and we will check the fit.
What about machines with a teardrop-shaped lever?
According to Wiedemann, a shorter spacer rod may be needed when fitting it to a machine that previously had a teardrop-shaped brew lever. We will clarify this with you in advance.
Is the end cap included?
Yes. The lever comes with the chrome-plated ECM end cap.
Is the lever available in other woods?
Yes. Besides olive, Wiedemann makes it in walnut, oak and smoked oak.
How quickly is the lever delivered?
Delivery throughout Switzerland and to Liechtenstein in 2–4 working days. Click & Collect is available in Bern and Zurich Oerlikon.
Tip from the roastery: For full-bodied espresso from your ECM we roast Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight, chocolatey and nutty. If you want maximum body without acidity, go for Very Nutty. For a fruity discovery there is Wild Peach. This is our recommendation, one of many.
