La Marzocco fitting tool for the LEVA gasket – the part that keeps the gasket intact
A brew group gasket has to be stretched during installation without twisting or getting nicked. By hand, this rarely works; with a screwdriver, almost never. A gasket with a small nick seals for two weeks and then starts to weep – and you end up looking for the fault everywhere except there.
This tool stretches the gasket on evenly and guides it cleanly into its seat. It is a tool for a few minutes a year that saves a gasket every time.
What you need it for
For every brew group gasket change on the LEVA. It is especially worthwhile if you look after several groups or service the machine yourself – after two or three changes, it has paid for itself through the gaskets saved.

Who it is for
For workshops, cafés that do their own maintenance and ambitious LEVA owners. If you leave gasket changes to the service team anyway, you don’t need it – the technician will have the tool with them anyway.
What goes with it
The same job calls for the O-rings for the LEVA, the spring ring for the brew group and the removal hook for the shower screen. It makes sense to change the shower screen for the LEVA in the same step. Everything else under La Marzocco accessories and spare parts.
Tip from our café
Beforehand, we put the new gasket in warm water for ten minutes. It becomes more supple, is easier to fit and settles into its seat more quickly. With the tool and a warm gasket, the change is a matter of minutes. This is our workshop routine from Bern and Zurich, not a manufacturer specification. For dialling in afterwards we use Nutty Delight, Cozy Chocolate for chocolatey notes and Very Nutty for maximum body. All roasts under Coffee beans.
No returns
Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a trial fitting on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we will check the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
Frequently asked questions
Do I really need the tool?
Not necessarily – but without it, the gasket regularly gets damaged during fitting, and you only notice weeks later.
Is a gasket included?
No, only the tool is supplied. Write to us which gasket you need, and we will add it.
Does it also fit the Linea or KB90?
It is listed for the LEVA. For other series, we are happy to check whether it fits.
How do I look after the tool?
Wipe dry and store dry. Not dishwasher safe.
Can I see the part in the showroom?
Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not our entire range – the display changes. Drop us a quick line at [email protected] before your visit, and we will check whether the product you have in mind is currently there.
