The seal slides over the cone instead of over the edge
When fitting a piston seal, it has to be stretched and pushed over the piston. That is exactly where the classic mistake happens: you pull it over a sharp edge, stretch it too far or pinch it with a screwdriver. You don't see the cut afterwards – you only see the drip under the group.
This conical tool solves the problem differently: the seal is guided over the cone, expands evenly and settles into its groove without being overstretched or twisted. The difference doesn't show on the day you fit it, but after three months of operation.
When you need it
Every time you change the piston seals, when reassembling a dismantled group and whenever a freshly fitted seal starts leaking again after a short time – that is often not a material defect but a seal damaged while being fitted.

Before fitting new seals, we briefly place them in warm water. Warm seals are softer, slide more easily over the cone and return to their shape more quickly – that's our routine, not a manufacturer's requirement. No returns
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold once they have been installed or test-fitted on a machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we'll clarify the fit together.
