Normcore Heavy-Duty Espresso Knock Box (S & L)
A solid walnut base, topped with a dark, matt shimmering metal cylinder – the box stands quietly and heavily on the counter. The puck falls into the round container with a muffled, almost silent sound, and nothing splashes to the side.
A heavy knock box with a walnut base and a round container, available in two sizes.
What makes this knock box special
The solid natural walnut base gives the box stability and a warm touch, while the carbon steel cylinder is robust and durable. Non-slip pads on the bottom keep it secure and dampen vibrations. The round container is slightly angled, which reduces coffee grounds splashing and makes knocking out pleasantly quiet.
Size S holds about 1 liter, equating to about 20 to 25 pucks, and size L holds about 1.8 liters, or about 40 to 45 pucks. Both are made of carbon steel, rubber, and walnut.

Roastery Tip
A quiet, heavy knock box is part of daily life, but the bean makes the taste. For dense, sweet espresso, we love Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight. If you like it full-bodied and round without any acidity, stick with Very Nutty; for a fruity experience, Wild Peach goes into the grinder. This is our recommendation, one of many, and every bean you like is the right one.
