Profitec Pro 600 – Dual Boiler with E61
Two independently adjustable boilers, a solid E61 group head and a stainless steel housing with coloured side panels: the Pro 600 gives you independent control over brewing and steam – and can also run as a single-circuit machine when you want. Profitec is a German manufacturer based in Bammental near Heidelberg, handcrafted in Germany and Italy.

All features at a glance
Dual boiler with two PIDs
The coffee boiler and the steam/hot water boiler are separate and independently adjustable via the PID display. The display also shows the shot time in seconds. If needed, the machine can be run as a single-circuit machine.
E61 group head
The E61 group head with a stainless steel bell keeps the temperature stable. Brew pressure is manually adjustable.
Boilers and heating
Stainless steel coffee boiler holding 0.75 litres, steam/hot water boiler holding 1 litre, both insulated. Two stainless steel heating elements at 1000 watts each, boiler and pump pressure gauges.
Equipment
Programmable ECO mode, cleaning reminder, low-wear rotary valves, vibration pump, 2.8-litre water tank with adapter, automatic shutoff when water runs low. Weight around 24 kg. Included: two portafilters (single and double spout), filter baskets, blind filter, cleaning brush and manual.

What does dual boiler mean?
Two separate boilers: one for brew water, one for steam and hot water. The brew temperature is set independently, so you can pull a shot and froth milk at the same time.
What's the difference from the Pro 600 QS?
The QS version delivers faster steam via Quick-Steam. The foundation of dual boiler and E61 group head is the same.
How long does heating up take?
Allow around 20 minutes so the E61 group head is stable at temperature.

Roastery tip
Getting the most out of the dual boiler comes down to choosing the brew temperature to match the bean: a bit higher for light roasts, a bit lower for dark ones. The manually adjustable brew pressure gives you one more dial to play with. That's our recommendation, one of many.
