The Magic Tumbler attaches magnetically to the grinder, catches the grounds and distributes them as they fall. A built-in, super-flexible stainless steel stirring rod automatically applies the Weiss Distribution Technique (WDT) – saving you a step.

What sets the Magic Tumbler apart
The magnets on the rim attach to compatible grinders in place of the exit funnel, so nothing sprays past. The integrated static wiper, made of food-safe, anti-static resin, takes away the static, while the flexible stainless steel rod distributes the grounds. All inner surfaces are made of anodised aluminium with very low surface energy – coffee grounds slide off without any coating or Teflon. The stirring rod is replaceable; two spare rods are included.
The Magic Tumbler is a cup, not a shaker, so it has no lid. If you're looking for the version you shake, take a look at the Blind Shaker.

Frequently asked questions
Which grinders does the Magic Tumbler fit?
On the Key, HG-2 and HG-1 – but not on HG-1 units built before the locking ring adjustment.
Do I need it for 49 mm baskets too?
The Magic Tumbler is designed for 58 mm. For 49 mm, we recommend the Blind Tumbler.
Can I shake it like a Blind Shaker?
No, it has no lid. The Blind Shaker is the one made for shaking.
Roastery tip
The flexible rod takes care of fine distribution while you grind – so an extra round of WDT by hand often isn't needed at all. Simply attach, grind, tip into the basket. That's our recommendation, one of many.
