Weber Workshops Bean Cellar – Bulk 50 single-dosing tubes

Fifty Weber Workshops Bean Cellars with valve caps: portion your beans once, and each dose stays sealed until it goes into the grinder. Buy online or pick up in Bern and Zurich.

Weber Workshops offers the bulk set for commercial use and long-term freezing. Each tube is made of BPA-free, hard-wearing polypropylene. The cap carries the Weber Workshops one-way valve: freshly roasted beans release CO2, and the gas pushes the lighter oxygen up and out through the valve.

    Why 50 single-dosing tubes

With single dosing, only the amount of beans for one shot or one brew sits in the grinder. The tubes do this in advance: you weigh out several portions at once, seal them and later reach for the ready dose.

Weber Workshops designs the Bean Cellars for baristas at home and in cafés: as part of a single-dosing workflow at the grinder or as individual retail portions for guests. With 50 tubes, the supply covers several beans in parallel or café service.

How much coffee fits in a tube depends on bean size and roast level. Weber Workshops does not give a fixed value, so we do not state one here.

    Light or air?

Many people ask whether light harms the beans in the translucent Frosty tube. Weber Workshops says no, as long as the tubes are not stored in direct sunlight. According to Weber Workshops’ experience and tests, repeatedly opening and closing a container, exposing the beans to fresh air each time, is several orders of magnitude more damaging to freshness than ambient light in the room. This is exactly what the single portion avoids: each tube is opened only once.

    Who it is made for

For everyone who works consistently with single dosing, keeps several beans at home in parallel or pre-portions in a café. If you need fewer tubes, you will find the set of 10, the wooden stations and the wall rack in the Weber Workshops collection. Our opinion is one of many.

Portioning calls for a scale. For everyone who wants to weigh compactly and precisely: Normcore scales. If you want an app, Bluetooth and a flow-rate display: Acaia scales. For everyone who wants to grind for single dosing affordably and precisely: Varia, Comandante or Timemore. If you want more: Weber Workshops or Option-O. You will find all models in our coffee grinders, and our advice tool for machines and grinders shows which grinder suits your setup.

    Frequently asked questions

Does the Bean Cellar Bulk 50 include caps with a valve?

Yes. Each of the fifty tubes comes with a cap and a one-way valve.

Are the Bean Cellar tubes BPA-free?

Yes, they are made of BPA-free, hard-wearing polypropylene.

What is the set of 50 suited to?

According to Weber Workshops, for commercial use and long-term freezing, as well as for single dosing at home and for individual portions in cafés.

What is the difference between Bulk 10 and Bulk 50?

Only the quantity. Material, valve cap and colours are the same. Both sets are available in the Weber Workshops collection.

Can I see the Bean Cellars before I buy?

Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not our entire range. Write to [email protected] in advance if you want to see a particular colour.

Tip from the roastery: Label the tubes with the bean and filling date so you rotate neatly through your supply. For a supply that sits on the shelf for a few days, we like to roast dense, full-bodied beans such as Cozy Chocolate or Nutty Delight. If you are looking for maximum body without acidity, portion Very Nutty, and for a fruity tube in between there is Wild Peach. That is our recommendation, one of many.
