Blind filter for backflushing your brew group
A small part that keeps your machine clean and your espresso honest. The blind filter sits in place of the normal basket in the portafilter and lets no water through – so you flush the brew group from the inside and dissolve the coffee oils and residue that build up over time.
Regular backflushing is part of the care routine: coffee oils turn rancid over time and settle as a fine film. Keep the group clear and you taste it in the cup – cleaner, clearer, the way the coffee is meant to be.

Who is the blind filter for?
For anyone with a machine with a 58 mm portafilter who wants to care for their brew group themselves. As a rule of thumb, backflush daily without cleaning agent and roughly every 50 shots with a suitable cleaning powder – it only takes a few minutes. That's our recommendation, one of many.
