Frequently Asked Questions
What distinguishes a heat exchanger from a dual boiler?
A heat exchanger uses one boiler with a heat exchanger for brewing and steam simultaneously. A dual boiler has two separate boilers. With a heat exchanger, you can also brew and froth at the same time.

Yes. The included colored valve discs can be swapped without tools.
How long does it take to heat up?
Allow about 20 minutes for the E61 brew group to reach a stable temperature.
Can I see it before buying?
Certainly. You can see it live in Bern and Zurich Oerlikon. Just let us know and we'll have it ready.
Is the barista course included?
A private barista course can be booked separately.
Roastery Tip
Use the three temperature settings to match the machine to your beans, and play with pre-infusion: A short pre-wetting of the puck evens out minor irregularities and makes the extraction smoother. This is our recommendation, one of many.
