Aram Espresso Maker + Steel Stand – handcrafted lever espresso, completely without power
Your hand rests on the crank, you feel the resistance of the water in the coffee bed, and a dense espresso flows into the cup – with no power outlet at all, entirely by your own feel. On the kitchen counter, an eye-catcher in fine wood; in your backpack, a travel companion.
The Aram is the first espresso machine that works completely without electricity and can be used both portably and at home. Handcrafted in Brazil, dressed in fine wood.
How the Aram works
The Aram works like a hand-lever machine: the crank moves a piston that draws the best out of every bean with variable pressure. Because you guide the pressure yourself, every shot is a piece of craft – we like to work by weight ratio, around 1:2, and let the taste decide. Espresso is complex, but it's not rocket science. Our opinion is just one among many.
The included solid steel stand gives the Aram a fixed spot at home – and if you leave it behind, the Aram simply goes into your backpack for the next hike.

Who It's For
For everyone who wants to pull espresso by hand and take it anywhere – at home on the counter or on the go. For an even grind, look to a grinder from our coffee grinders; especially nice on the go is a hand grinder. Our advisory tool helps with the choice.
What Goes Well With It
For clean distribution before the shot, a matching tamper takes care of it. Add fresh beans from our coffee roastery. When you buy a machine, a private barista course is included – extraction philosophy and the espresso ritual in about five minutes.
