Profitec Pro 800 – Lever Machine with Dipper System
Cock the lever, feel the spring build the pressure, watch the espresso take shape: the Pro 800 is a spring lever machine where you help shape the pressure profile yourself. Wooden handles in American walnut, a pine-green manometer, and a massive brew group give it a calm, classic presence – from Profitec, a German manufacturer based in Bammental near Heidelberg, handcrafted in Germany and Italy.
Coffee Coaching Club is a partner of Profitec in Switzerland. A private barista course can be booked separately. Financing is available.

Spring Lever with Pressure Profile
The massive lever brew group weighs around 7.8 kg and holds heat stably. You cock the lever, a spring builds the pressure and lets it fade again – for a gentle pre-infusion you can re-cock at any point and help shape the curve. Every shot becomes your own.
Wood and Classic Style
The handles of the lever, tilt valves, and portafilters are handcrafted from American walnut. The large pine-green manometer fits into the classic design, and the PID display sits discreetly behind the drip tray.
Dipper System with Copper Boiler
The dipper system works as a single boiler with a copper boiler of around 3.5 liters. The vibration pump, in tank operation, only fills the boiler; in direct water connection it is deactivated.
Water and Key Data
Switchable from water tank (approx. 2.8 L) to direct water connection, connection to a water drain possible. Power 1600 W, weight around 35.5 kg.

Who It's For
For everyone who is looking for the ritual of a lever machine and wants to help shape the pressure profile themselves. Anyone who enjoys forming every shot by hand finds a machine here that takes the pace out of everyday life.
What Goes With It
For everyone who wants a coffee grinder that's affordable and precise: the Varia VS3 from our Varia Collection or a hand grinder from the Comandante Collection. Want more: the Varia VS6 or the EG-1 from the Weber Workshops Collection.
A tamper from the Normcore Collection fits well too, or, for something more substantial, one from the Weber Workshops Collection – plus fresh beans like Cozy Chocolate or Very Nutty. More from the lineup is in the Profitec collection.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does a lever machine work?
You cock the lever, and a spring builds the brewing pressure instead of having it regulated by a pump. This gives you control over pre-infusion and the pressure profile – and makes every shot a little more personal.
Can I connect it to the water line?
Yes. It's switchable from water tank to direct water connection, and a drain can be connected. We set this up on request at delivery.
How long does heating up take?
Plan for around 20 minutes so that the boiler and brew group are stably up to temperature.
Can I see it before buying?
Gladly. It's on display live in Bern and Zurich Oerlikon – just let us know, and we'll have it ready for you.
Roastery Tip
The appeal of a lever machine lies in the pressure profile: a gentle pre-infusion with light pressure moistens the puck evenly, and from there the spring builds up the pressure. Especially with light roasts, this creates a balanced, clear shot. Take your time to find your way. This is our recommendation, one of many.
