Lelit Elizabeth PL92T – dual boiler espresso machine with LCC and OLED display
An OLED display that's the first thing to light up on a dark kitchen morning, and two boilers that each hold their temperature independently of one another.
The Elizabeth is a dual boiler machine in a housing that fits into 32 centimetres of width. The coffee boiler holds 300 millilitres and is made of brass, the steam and hot water boiler holds 600 millilitres and is made of AISI 316L stainless steel. Separate boilers mean separate decisions: you can choose the brew temperature because it no longer depends on the steam power. And temperature helps decide which compounds dissolve from the puck – warmer brings more body and sweetness, cooler more definition and aroma. That's the real gain of this design, not the speed.
Everything is controlled via the LCC, the Lelit Control Center, with a high-resolution OLED display and PID control for both boilers. You see coffee, water and steam temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit, set shot times for your doses, activate pre-infusion and let the automatic cleaning programme run. You can switch off the steam boiler if you don't want milk for a few days. The machine is driven by a revised vibration pump.
At the front sits the LELIT58 group, compatible with LELIT58 accessories, and behind it a three-way solenoid valve that pulls the puck dry after the shot – that's why it drops cleanly out of the basket instead of coming out as sludge. The illuminated manometer shows you the pressure while you watch. The steam wand is multidirectional and cool-touch, the hot water wand is fixed. A wide cup warmer on top, backlit stainless steel buttons at the front, and underneath a 2.5 litre water tank.
No shot can be replicated exactly – the bean, the humidity and you yourself change every day. That's not a limitation, it's the beauty of it. Work with a weight ratio, 1:2 as a starting point, and move from there in the direction you enjoy. There's no right and no wrong – the coffee has to taste good to you.

Who the Elizabeth is for
For everyone who wants a dual boiler without giving up half the worktop for it. For households where espresso and cappuccino exist side by side and nobody wants to wait between two shots. And for everyone who likes to adjust the brew temperature and hear what the bean has to say about it – one degree up or down noticeably shifts the picture in the cup. If you'd rather not adjust anything at all, the factory settings will get you through the morning just as well. Both paths are valid.
Because the grinder contributes at least as much to the result as the machine, it's worth a look at our coffee grinders: affordable and precise, the Varia VS3 or the Comandante C40 as a hand grinder; for more burr and more features, the Varia VS6, the Weber Workshops EG-1 or the Option-O Lagom. For puck prep, the tampers include the spring-loaded Normcore Spring-Loaded and the tampers from Weber Workshops side by side, and the puck screens likewise cover both price ranges. For dosing by weight, take a look at the coffee scales: Normcore for compact and reliable, Acaia for app and flow rate display. If you're curious what a dual boiler really changes compared with a single boiler and a heat exchanger, you can read up on it in our deep dive on heating systems.
Frequently asked questions about the Lelit Elizabeth PL92T
Is the Elizabeth really a dual boiler?
Yes. It has two separate boilers: 300 millilitres of brass for the coffee and 600 millilitres of AISI 316L stainless steel for steam and hot water. You can switch off the steam boiler when you don't need it.
Can I make espresso and milk foam at the same time?
Yes. Each boiler works on its own, so there's no switching over or waiting.
Will my existing 58 mm accessories fit?
The Elizabeth uses the LELIT58 group and is compatible with the LELIT58 barista accessories. For accessories from other brands, just send us a quick message at [email protected] and we'll check it for you.
How much space does the machine need?
32 cm wide, 38 cm deep and 38 cm high, at a weight of 15.3 kg. Leave a little room above it so you can fill the water tank comfortably.
Can I see the product before I buy it?
That depends on whether the Lelit Elizabeth PL92T is on display right now. Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich Oerlikon (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not our entire range – it is too large for that, and the display changes. Drop us a quick line at [email protected] before your visit, and we will check whether the Lelit Elizabeth PL92T is currently there.
How fast do you deliver within Switzerland?
In 2 to 4 working days, across Switzerland and to Liechtenstein. Financing is possible.
You can buy the Lelit Elizabeth PL92T online here – delivery in 2 to 4 working days, across Switzerland and to Liechtenstein, and financing is possible. A private barista course can be booked in addition; in it, we go through extraction philosophy and the espresso ritual together. We're happy to answer questions at [email protected] or by phone during business hours. You'll find the whole lineup in the Lelit Collection.
Tip from our coffee roastery
Two boilers mean two freedoms: set the brew temperature to suit the bean instead of aligning it with the steam. For the vast majority, Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight are the loveliest start – dense, aromatic, sweet, with caramel and chocolate. For maximum body with no acidity at all, go for Very Nutty. And if you're curious, turn the brew temperature down a few degrees and discover a fruity picture in Wild Peach. That's our recommendation, one of many – every bean that makes you happy belongs in this machine.
