Rhino Replacement Heads for Cleaning Brush – 3 Pieces

After a few months of daily use, the feel of brushing changes: the bristles no longer give the firm resistance they used to, they bend softly to the side instead of lifting coffee oil residue out of the group head. That is exactly the moment to take a look at the brush head – often a swap is all it takes, not a whole new brush.

Brush bristles are a wear part like any other tool that works through friction every day: with every stroke they flex, the material fatigues, the stiffness fades. That is exactly why Rhino makes the heads of its own group brush replaceable – three replacement heads in the set bring the brush back to day-one condition, without swapping the handle and base as well.

Why this is more than tidiness: coffee oils that settle in the group head oxidise over time and turn rancid – a brush that has gone soft no longer really reaches the corners and the gasket around the shower screen, and that is exactly where the residue sits that can affect the next shot. The Rhino Group Brush itself, by the way, has a built-in dosing scoop for cleaning powder – a small detail that keeps the whole routine in one place.

    Who it's for

For anyone who already has a Rhino Group Brush in use and whose bristles have gone noticeably soft. Whether in a café with frequent swaps or at home with occasional care, the replacement heads extend the life of the brush without you having to buy a whole new one.

Cleaning powder and products for the whole routine are in our Machine & Grinder Cleaning collection, and more accessories around the group head and portafilter are in our Barista Equipment & Tools collection.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do the heads fit my brush?

They are made as an original spare part for the Rhino Group Brush and fit it precisely.

How do I know it's time for a replacement?

As soon as the bristles feel noticeably soft and no longer reach the corners and grooves of the group head, it's worth swapping them out.

How many replacement heads are included?

Three per set – enough to keep you covered for a while.

Can I see the product before I buy it?

Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not our entire range – the display changes. Drop us a quick line at [email protected] before your visit, and we will check whether the product you have in mind is currently there.

    Roastery Tip

A fresh brush turns the cleaning routine back into what it should be: quick and effective. What lands in the cup afterwards is a matter of taste – from our own roastery we recommend Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight to the great majority, dense and chocolatey in body. For maximum body without any acidity, Very Nutty is our pick. And if you are curious about something fruity, Wild Peach is a bright side note. Our recommendation is one of many.
