MHW-3BOMBER Square Knock Box 1.2 l – knock out your coffee puck quietly and cleanly
A short, dull knock, and the coffee puck drops into the box. The silicone-covered knock bar absorbs the impact instead of clattering loudly. The Square Knock Box from MHW-3BOMBER in Black holds 1.2 litres and, with its square shape, sits compactly next to your espresso machine.
The container is made of durable ABS plastic. The knock bar is covered in silicone, which dampens noise and impact and protects your portafilter. The bevelled rim keeps splashes inside the box, and the non-slip base keeps it in place while you knock out.
Emptying and cleaning
The knock bar can be removed, so you can empty the box in one go. Then rinse it briefly or wipe it out with a damp cloth and let it air-dry.
How much does it hold?
With 1.2 litres, the box is made for everyday use at home without taking up much counter space. How many pucks fit depends on your dose and how wet the pucks are. In our experience, it is best to empty a knock box daily; that keeps it clean and the grounds are easy to dispose of, for example in the compost.

Tip from our café: In our experience, the puck comes out most cleanly when you knock out the portafilter right after the shot, with one short, firm knock on the bar rather than several hesitant ones.
