The Buono has been a staple in pour-over for years because it makes pouring precise and well-controlled. We carry Hario at Coffee Coaching Club.
The long, narrow spout gives you a fine, even stream of water and thus control over speed and placement. This is exactly what determines an even extraction in hand pouring: where and how quickly the water hits shapes the flavor profile in the cup. The stainless steel Buono is suitable for all hob types, including induction. It does not have temperature control – if you want to set the water temperature to the degree, check out an electric kettle from the Varia collection.

For everyone who brews Pour-Over, Chemex or AeroPress and wants a controlled stream of water – without electricity, simply on the stove. The 1.0-liter version is suitable for one to two cups per pour; if you need more, choose the 1.2-liter version from the Hario collection.
A V60 dripper like the V60 NEO 02, filter paper from the Hario collection, a scale with timer from the Normcore range or the Acaia collection and a grinder from the hand grinders. Beans like the fruity Wild Peach or the round Nutty Delight.
Yes. The stainless steel Buono works on all hob types, including induction.
No, it's a stovetop kettle without a temperature display. If you want to set the temperature to the degree, choose an electric kettle with control.
To prevent overflow when boiling and swirling, the recommended filling volume is below the total capacity – this provides a secure hold when pouring.
For pour-over, a good starting point is around 92 to 96 °C. Without a thermometer: remove from the heat briefly after boiling and wait about half to a full minute. It becomes beautifully clear with Wild Peach. This is our recommendation, one of many.
