Timemore B75 Tasting Cup Transparent Black – 50 ml tasting cup

The espresso flows into the tinted, translucent cup, the crema settles as a fine layer on top, and you see color and texture before the first sip.

The B75 Tasting Cup is a compact tasting cup with a 50-milliliter capacity – made to experience espresso and small filter samples with intention. Coffee Coaching Club carries Timemore in Switzerland.

What it's for

The translucent material in Transparent Black lets you judge color, clarity and texture without strong reflections getting in the way. That way, what counts during tasting comes to the front: aroma, mouthfeel and finish. The compact shape sits comfortably in the hand and works well for comparing different beans directly side by side.

What goes with it

Tasting calls for fresh beans – like Cozy Chocolate, Nutty Delight or, for comparison, the fruity Wild Peach. For brewing, a hand filter from the Hario collection, the Timemore Crystal Eye Dripper or a lever machine from the Flair-Espresso collection. For precise dosing, a scale from the Normcore range.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Tasting Cup good for?

For the deliberate tasting of espresso and small filter samples. The translucent material helps you judge color and texture while you take in aroma and taste.

How big is it?

It holds 50 milliliters – the right size for espresso and small samples.

Can I see it before buying?

Gladly – you can discover it in person in Bern and Zurich Oerlikon.

Roastery tip

For comparison, it's worth tasting two profiles side by side – for example the chocolatey, dense Cozy Chocolate against the fruity Wild Peach. That's how you taste the differences most clearly. This is our recommendation, one of many.
