AeroPress Premium – coffee press made of glass and stainless steel
Glass in the hand, stainless steel at the rim, a calm plunge – the same clear, round cup as the Original, just in a version that tells a different story on the counter.
The AeroPress Premium brews on the same principle of immersion and light pressure as the other models. The difference lies in the materials: a brewing chamber made of glass, combined with stainless steel and aluminium, handmade. The cup stays the same – the Premium is a matter of material and feel. We carry AeroPress at Coffee Coaching Club.
Material and feel
Glass shows the brew clearly and doesn't take on any aromas, while stainless steel and aluminium give the press weight and a sense of quality. Nobody needs the Premium to make good coffee – the Original does that just as well. You choose it because the material and the feel of brewing mean something to you. That's a good decision, and nothing more is needed.

Who it's for
For everyone who cares about material and feel and wants a press made of glass and stainless steel. For the same cup in lightweight plastic, the AeroPress Original or the clear AeroPress Clear is a great fit.
What goes with it
Freshly ground coffee lets the cup shine – a grinder from our hand grinders by Comandante or an electric one from our coffee grinders. For dosing, a scale from the Acaia collection or the Normcore range, plus a kettle from the Varia collection and filters from the AeroPress collection. Beans such as Cozy Chocolate or the fruity Wild Peach.
Frequently asked questions
Does the coffee from the Premium taste different?
The brewing method is the same as the Original, so the cup is too. The difference lies in material, craftsmanship and feel.
What material is it made of?
From a brewing chamber made of glass, combined with stainless steel and aluminium, handmade.
Which filters fit?
The same as the Original: paper filters for an especially clear cup or a reusable stainless steel filter for more body.
Can I see the AeroPress Premium live before buying?
That depends on whether the AeroPress Premium is on display right now. Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich Oerlikon (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not our entire range – it is too large for that, and the display changes. Drop us a quick line at [email protected] before your visit, and we will check whether the AeroPress Premium is currently there.
Roastery tip
Through the glass you can watch the brew beautifully – a calm moment with a full-bodied bean like Cozy Chocolate or bright and fruity with Wild Peach. That's our recommendation, one of many.
