On the Linea Mini, the paddle is the part you touch most often: every shot starts and ends with it. Its cover is the visible plastic part that hides the mechanism behind it and stops water and coffee grounds from running in.
With daily use, it wears. The plastic turns pale at the edges, gets scratched by the ring on your finger, and if something knocks against it, it cracks. A new part costs far less than the thought of your machine slowly starting to look worn. Part number C.2.035, black plastic version.
These signs point to a replacement:

| Scope of delivery | One cover |
| Part number | C.2.035 |

Behind the cover sits the valve mechanism of the brew group, which is a pressurised area. We do not provide step-by-step instructions for this. If you are unsure, take the machine to a workshop – the effort is small, a damaged valve on the other hand is not.
For anyone who uses their Linea Mini every day and notices that the most-touched part of all is the one that ages fastest. Also worthwhile before reselling: a fresh paddle part makes a good impression straight away.
You will find more parts under Spare parts La Marzocco Linea Mini; the overall category is Accessories and spare parts La Marzocco. For a group overhaul, the group head gasket for Linea Mini R and Micra is usually part of it too, and you will find cleaning products under Machine and grinder cleaning.
From our workshop in Bern and Zurich
We teach baristas to guide the paddle with the flat of their hand instead of pulling it with two fingers. This makes the cover last noticeably longer, because the load does not always fall on the same edge. This is our observation from the workshop, not a manufacturer specification. For dialling in afterwards we use Nutty Delight, for milk coffee Cozy Chocolate and for strong espressos Very Nutty. You will find the selection under Coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Service parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold once they have been installed or test-fitted on a machine. So please check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine before ordering – or drop us a short message and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
No. What you receive is the cover; we carry the paddle as a separate part.
It is listed for the Linea Mini. There have been small changes over the years of manufacture, so if in doubt, send us the serial number.
Black, made of plastic.
We recommend fitting by a qualified professional, because the valve mechanism of the group sits behind it.
