What makes this portafilter special
Because there are no spouts, you can see the entire extraction process. A steady stream from the center indicates a balanced extraction, while side splashing suggests channeling – honest feedback to refine grind, distribution, and tamp. Splashes are not a defect of the portafilter. Profiling is a learning process, not an exam subject, and this is just our view, one of many.
The portafilter is made of stainless steel with a titanium PVD coating and a walnut wood handle. The PVD coating is harder and more corrosion-resistant, barely builds up static electricity, and ensures less coffee adheres to the tool. It comes with a matching filter basket.
