PUQ Prep Navigator – automatic WDT and distribution tool
One press of a button, and the needles loosen the coffee grounds evenly – calm and controlled, without you lifting a finger yourself. The result is a calmer, more even puck structure, prepared the same way, shot after shot.
The PUQ Prep Navigator takes over this distribution step, the one you'd otherwise do by hand with a WDT tool: a motorised mechanism with a rotating ring and multiple needles moves through the grounds in a combined motion, breaking up clumps and covering the whole surface. This isn't a promise of the perfect shot, but a way to make the preparation step reproducible. Our opinion is one of many.

Who it's made for
For anyone who wants to distribute their puck evenly before tamping and keep the step reproducible – at home as much as at a busy bar with several baristas.
You'll find more tools in our Barista Equipment. For tampers: the Normcore Collection is affordable and precise, and if you want more presence on the counter, the Weber Workshops Collection takes it further. The same goes for scales: the Normcore Collection covers the essentials, while the Acaia Collection adds an app and flow-rate display. Our opinion is one of many – if you've already found your own system, you simply add the distribution step.

Yes – in our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) you can experience the PUQ Prep Navigator live before you decide.
Roastery tip: if you're using the PUQ Prep Navigator, you're usually after a dense, aromatic shot – our Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight suit that particularly well, full-bodied and round. If you want maximum body with no acidity at all, reach for Very Nutty. And if you're curious about a fruity experience, Wild Peach is a lively discovery. Our recommendation – one of many.
