The Rhino Teflon Milk Pitcher 360 ml is a milk pitcher made of 1 mm food-grade stainless steel with a black non-stick coating. The manufacturer lists it as the Rhino Stealth Milk Pitcher. You can buy it in Switzerland from Coffee Coaching Club, with Click & Collect in Bern and Zürich.

The two-layer non-stick coating covers the inside and outside. As a result, milk residue sticks less to the wall. Shape, spout and handle follow the classic bell shape. This model has no volume markings. You can find all models of the brand under Rhino.

Latte Art

If you can pour, you can pour latte art with almost any pitcher. The shape of the spout shifts the possibilities in the details: a narrow, pointed spout allows finer lines, such as multi-tier tulips, sharp rosetta leaves, etching-style outlines or swans. The pitchers from Normcore and Dario Pieber are known for this. A wider spout gives a calmer milk stream.

This pitcher has a classic, pointed spout without an extended tip. The dark inner wall shows the milk level less clearly than bare stainless steel; that is a matter of habit.

Care

Hand wash only, not dishwasher safe. Use a soft sponge or microfibre cloth with mild washing-up liquid and dry the pitcher well afterwards. No harsh cleaning agents, no scouring pads or pot scrubbers: otherwise the coating can become dull, peel or scratch.

For the same reason, the manufacturer advises against thermometers with a metal clip. An alternative is a stick-on temperature indicator, such as the Accutemp from Rhino.
