The Tigershark belongs to Comandante's C40 Lab Series and is based on the C40 MK4 platform. Stone Washed finish housing, crank with a black lacquered oak knob, made in Germany. Coffee Coaching Club is a partner of Comandante.

Features of the Tigershark
Tigershark burr with Double Shark-Tip structure
It all started with light-roasted beans: their higher density and lower brittleness change the way they fracture during grinding and make life hard for classic burr geometries. Founder Bernd Braune therefore developed a dual-row cutting structure that cleanly cuts semi-elastic, dense materials, from Nordic roasts to grains such as green spelt and rye. The burr is made from Nitro Rex and is fully washable.
Nitro Rex: the steel of the burr
Nitro Rex is Comandante's own stainless steel alloy, made in an Alpine region with a long steelmaking tradition. According to the manufacturer, more than 17 % chromium plus vanadium, molybdenum and other micro-alloying elements provide high corrosion resistance, hardness and wear resistance. The silver-white surface needs no coating and is flavour-neutral.

Grind dial on the underside
You set the grind size with the dial below the burr; the symbols show the direction for fine and coarse. The engraving reads MK4, Made in Germany and Nitro Rex.
Engraving on the housing
The Stone Washed housing carries the engraving “Comandante Tigershark Burr” and the Lab Series mark.
Removable crank
The crank with its oak knob can be removed. Comandante developed the Tigershark for travel and expeditions.
Included are two bean jars with a capacity of 40 grams each: a transparent polymer jar and a dark glass jar with lid. Also included: a Comandante wrist band and a merino wool felt mat.
