Compact, colourful and quick to get going: the Profitec GO 2.0 is a single-boiler machine with a ring brew group that delivers uncompromising espresso quality in a small footprint. It comes from Profitec, a German manufacturer based in Bammental near Heidelberg that handcrafts its machines in Germany and Italy – available in five colours: Black, Yellow, Red, Light Blue and Satin.

| Pump | Vibration pump |
| Heat-up time | approx. 7 minutes (Fast-Heat-Up) |
| Power | 1300 W / 230 V |

The OLED display lets you set the coffee and steam temperature precisely, while the integrated shot timer shows the extraction time to the second.
A pressure gauge makes pump pressure visible, and the expansion valve lets you adjust brew pressure to your own taste.
Pre-infusion can be activated when needed, for a more even extraction.
Hot water is also available via the steam wand, for example for an Americano.
An automatic group-head cleaning cycle and a guided descaling programme make everyday care easier.
ECO mode switches off the heating after an adjustable time, and you can programme on and off times. If the water tank runs empty, the machine switches off automatically.
The GO 2.0 is a great fit if you're looking for a compact single-boiler machine with modern controls and you appreciate a splash of colour. As a single-boiler machine, it draws coffee and steam one after the other – well suited to one or two cups at a time.
A consistent coffee grinder such as one from the Eureka range, a tamper and fresh beans like Cozy Chocolate or Nutty Delight. Find more in the Profitec collection.
A single boiler supplies both brewing and steam. You draw them one after another: first the espresso, then the milk foam. This works well day-to-day for one or two cups.
In Fast-Heat-Up mode, the GO 2.0 is ready to use after around 7 minutes. The PID control then keeps the temperature constant.
That's a matter of taste – all five variants are technically identical. Black and Satin look understated, while Yellow, Red and Light Blue add a colourful accent.
Included in the delivery are single and double portafilter baskets (7 g, 14 g, 21 g), a blind filter basket, a tamper, a cleaning brush, a water filter cartridge, test strips and the instruction manual.
Using the switchable pre-infusion and the expansion valve, you can fine-tune your extraction: a little more pre-infusion time for lighter, denser roasts, a slightly lower brew pressure for darker roasts with more body. Work your way there in small steps. This is our recommendation, one of many.
