Blind filter – blind basket for backflushing the brew group
The blind filter is a basket without holes. You put it in the portafilter instead of the normal basket and backflush the brew group. The water is pushed back into the group and dissolves coffee oils and residue.
According to its part number, it corresponds to the IMS blind filter CFFC065 in stainless steel with a 70 mm rim diameter, for 58 mm portafilters.
Our suggested rhythm: backflush daily without detergent, and roughly every 50 shots with detergent. Whether your machine may be backflushed is stated in its user manual. Our opinion is one of many.

What do I need a blind filter for?

Does the blind filter fit my machine?
