AeroPress Replacement Seal for the Plunger
The seal sits at the end of the plunger and closes off the brewing chamber. According to AeroPress, it wears down over time. If it starts to leak, you only replace the seal.
This is the official AeroPress Seal spare part (item 80S01) made of silicone, 1 piece. The seal is not glued: pull the old seal off the plunger, put the new one on.
According to AeroPress, it fits the Original, Clear, Go and Go Plus. The AeroPress XL and the AeroPress Premium have their own seals.

Frequently asked questions
When should I replace the AeroPress seal?
When it is worn and air or coffee escapes past the seal while pressing. AeroPress does not specify a fixed replacement interval.
Does the replacement seal fit the AeroPress Original, Clear, Go and Go Plus?
Yes, according to AeroPress. The AeroPress XL and the AeroPress Premium have their own seals.
How do I change the AeroPress seal?
The seal is not glued. Pull the old seal off the plunger, put the new one on.
How does the AeroPress seal last longer?
AeroPress recommends ejecting the puck right after brewing and storing the AeroPress with the plunger pushed all the way through. This keeps the seal free of compression.
Tip from the roastery: On the AeroPress, Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight bring chocolate, nuts and caramel to the cup. Very Nutty brings maximum body without acidity. If you are curious about something fruity, add Wild Peach. That is our recommendation, one of many.
