Flanged bushing 12 x 14 x 12 mm for the LEVA – guides and holds at the same time
A flanged bushing is a plain bushing with a collar. The collar takes the axial load, while the sleeve guides the axle. So a single part does two jobs – and in the lever mechanism of a LEVA it turns with the barista's hand force on every shot.
This bushing has a bore of 12 millimetres, an outer diameter of 14 millimetres and a length of 12 millimetres. The manufacturer lists it for the LEVA under part number F.1.085. One bushing is supplied.
When it is due
The guided axle has play, radially or lengthways. When it moves, it rattles, creaks or grinds. The assembly visibly drifts to one side. Or the removed bushing has a worn collar, an oval bore or scoring.

Important for installation
The bushing is part of the preloaded lever mechanism on a pressurised group. That is why there are no step-by-step instructions here: machine disconnected from the power supply, depressurised, cooled down, spring force released, and the collar must not be damaged when it is pressed in. This is workshop work – we also do it for you in Bern and Zurich.
Who it is for
For service technicians who go through a LEVA lever mechanism completely. For businesses with a lever machine in continuous operation, where the bearing points are part of the maintenance plan. And for workshops that keep bushings in exact sizes in stock, because a single missing small part can blow the schedule.
What goes with it
The other bushings and parts of the lever mechanism are in Spare parts for La Marzocco LEVA. The full overview is at Accessories and spare parts for La Marzocco and under Service parts. When the group is open, Machine and grinder cleaning is part of the job.
Workshop tip from Bern and Zurich
Our own routine, not a manufacturer's specification: because the LEVA has several flanged bushings in similar sizes, we place each removed bushing on a labelled piece of paper as soon as it is out. You cannot see a two-millimetre difference with the naked eye, and you only notice the wrong bushing in the wrong place during reassembly. For the final check, we pull a shot with Nutty Delight. Sweeter with Cozy Chocolate, stronger with Very Nutty. Everything else in our coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured to order and cannot be resold after being installed or test-fitted on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
Frequently asked questions
What distinguishes this bushing from the 12 x 16 x 11,5 mm one?
The outer diameter and the length. Both are used on the LEVA, but they are not interchangeable. This one is F.1.085, the other one F.1.076.
What are its exact dimensions?
Bore 12 millimetres, outer diameter 14 millimetres, length 12 millimetres.
How many pieces are included?
One. If you are overhauling an axle with two bearing points, order two – or write to us and we will put the set together for you.
Can I install it myself?
We recommend a specialist. The lever mechanism is preloaded, and the bushing's collar must not be deformed when it is pressed in.
Can I look at the part in your showroom?
Yes. We are in Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b. Let us know shortly beforehand and we will have the part ready.
