The pressure delivered by the LEVA's spring
On the LEVA, the spring does the work: it is compressed when you pull the lever and then pushes the piston through the coffee. The adjustable pressure limiter determines how much pressure is applied – and therefore whether the extraction starts softly or kicks in hard.
It works purely mechanically, with no coil and no electricity. When it wears, the pressure drifts during operation or can no longer be set cleanly. Part number A.7.008 refers to the adjustable pressure limiter of the LEVA.
When it's due
- The set pressure does not hold and changes over the course of the day.
- The setting can no longer be finely adjusted.
- Water leaks from the component.
- The extraction kicks in hard even though the setting is unchanged.

Who it's for
For businesses with a LEVA that want to set their pressure profile reliably again, and for service technicians overhauling the lever group.
Important for installation
The component sits in a pressurised group with a compressed spring. The machine must be switched off, depressurised and cooled down. We deliberately do not provide step-by-step instructions here – a lot of energy is stored in the lever group.
What goes with it
From our workshop
On a LEVA, we never change pressure and grind setting at the same time, only one of them per test series. Otherwise, no one knows in the end what caused the improvement. That's our workshop rule in Bern and Zurich, not a manufacturer specification. We like to test with Nutty Delight; all other beans can be found under Coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Service parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured to order and cannot be resold once they have been installed or test-fitted on a machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick line and we'll clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
Frequently asked questions
Is this an electronic component?

What pressure is it set to?
It is adjustable. The values depend on your setup – have the setting done by a qualified professional.
Does it fit every LEVA?
It is listed for the LEVA. Send us the serial number and we'll check the fit for your machine.
Are seals included?
No. Only the pressure limiter is supplied.
Can I see the part in the showroom?
