Lelit Portafilter Single Spout Plus Series 58 mm – Portafilter for LELIT58
A cup sits under the portafilter, a single stream runs into the centre, and none of it goes astray.
The single spout is the calmest way to get an espresso into exactly one vessel. A split spout divides the shot between two cups and sends each stream through its own little tube. With the single spout, everything stays together: one channel, one stream, one cup. For anyone who always pulls into the same cup anyway, that's the more direct route – and in a tall cup or a glass, the coffee lands without detouring over the rim.
What ends up in the cup, though, is decided beforehand. Pressure shapes the aromatic window, because different compounds dissolve at different moments, and temperature determines which of them go into solution at all: higher gives more body, lower more complexity and aroma. The spout just brings the result home. It doesn't change what was extracted, only where it flows.
We calculate by weight ratio, not by time alone. 18 grams in, around 36 grams out, the classic 1:2 as a starting point. Whether you prefer it tighter or longer is something you'll find out for yourself – no shot can be replicated exactly anyway, because the bean, the humidity and the person change every day. That's not a limitation, that's the beauty of it. Our opinion is one of many.
The fit depends on the group head. 58 millimetres means LELIT58, and that's the group of the MaraX, MaraX3, Bianca, Elizabeth, Victoria and Kate. Anna and Anita work with LELIT57 and need a different format. The two groups are not interchangeable.

Who it's for
For anyone with a Lelit from the LELIT58 family who pulls their espresso into a single cup and doesn't need a split spout for it. And for anyone who wants a second portafilter to hand, so nothing has to wait between two shots.
No level of experience is required here, and none is too little. More portafilters for both Lelit groups are in the Portafilters and bottomless portafilters collection, and the matching machines among the Lelit espresso machines.
What goes with it
The portafilter is the last link, the grinder the first. For anyone who wants a grinder that's affordable and precise: the Varia VS3, or the Comandante C40 as a hand grinder. If you want more, go for the Varia VS6, the Weber Workshops EG-1 or the Option-O Lagom. Both routes sit side by side in the coffee grinders collection.
In between lies the coffee bed. A tamper presses it level – affordable and precise with the Normcore Spring-Loaded Tamper, with higher demands on material and feel from Weber Workshops, both in the tampers collection. And because you work by weight ratio, a scale belongs with it: Normcore for the affordable and precise route, Acaia for app, flow-rate display and Bluetooth, found among the coffee scales.
Frequently asked questions
Does this portafilter fit my Lelit?
It fits all Lelit machines with the LELIT58 group: MaraX PL62X, MaraX3 PL62X3, Bianca PL162T, Elizabeth PL92T and PL92T3, Victoria PL91T and PL91T3, and Kate PL82T. Anna and Anita work with the LELIT57 group and don't take it. The two groups are not compatible with each other.
How does the single spout differ from the double spout?
Only in the spout. The single spout guides the whole shot through one channel into one cup; the double spout splits it between two cups. It has no effect on the extraction itself.
And how does it differ from a bottomless portafilter?
The bottomless portafilter has no spout at all and shows the extraction openly. The single spout guides the coffee into the cup in one bundled stream. One is for seeing, the other for pouring – both are valid.
How do I keep the portafilter clean?
After the shot, knock out the puck, rinse the basket with hot water and wipe it dry. The daily flush of the group head runs without detergent, every 50 or so shots with detergent, and takes about five minutes.
Can I see the product before buying?
Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not our entire range – the display changes. Drop us a quick line at [email protected] before your visit, and we will check whether the product you have in mind is currently there. Delivery to Switzerland and Liechtenstein takes 2 to 4 working days.
From the roastery
A single spout bundles everything into one cup, and that's where density shows most beautifully. Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight run round, sweet and full-bodied. If you want maximum body without any acidity, reach for Very Nutty. And if you'd like to discover something fruity, you'll find it in Wild Peach. That's our recommendation, one of many – any other bean works too.
