Mahlkönig 80 mm Special Steel Burrs – Tanzania

Original replacement burrs from Mahlkönig for the Tanzania shop grinder. Mahlkönig lists them under part number 275312.

The burrs are made of hardened special steel and measure 80 mm in diameter. Mahlkönig designs them for bag grinding in retail.

After the change, you set the grind size again. For espresso we go by weight, not time, with a 1:2 ratio as a starting point. Our opinion is one of many.

Tip from the roastery: Fresh burrs are a good moment to dial in again with a familiar bean. For espresso we recommend Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight, dense, round and chocolatey. For maximum body without acidity there is Very Nutty. That is our recommendation, one of many.
