Mahlkönig Bean Hopper Adapter – K30 / PEAK
The Mahlkönig adapter 706625 connects the K30 and PEAK to the 0.25 kg, 1.2 kg and 1.8 kg bean hoppers. Original spare part, available in Bern and Zurich.
Mahlkönig lists the adapter for the K30 and PEAK espresso grinders. On the K30 Twin, according to Mahlkönig, it is intended for the 250 g hopper.
Why a smaller hopper
With fewer beans in the hopper, less is left behind when you switch coffees. On a K30 or PEAK that means a second bean for the afternoon, a Decaf or a guest coffee, without having to empty the large hopper.
Grinding is done by weight, not by time. A ratio of 1:2 is a good starting point, and you dial in every new bean from there. Every shot still stays unique, because the bean, the humidity and you yourself change every day.

Who it is made for
For anyone who wants to switch their K30 or PEAK to one of the current Mahlkönig hoppers, in a café or at home. Some prefer to stay with the large standard hopper. Both are a valid choice, our opinion is one of many.

According to Mahlkönig, the Mahlkönig bean hoppers with 0.25 kg, 1.2 kg and 1.8 kg. For the K30 Twin, Mahlkönig specifies the 0.25 kg hopper.
Does the adapter also fit the EK43?
No, for the EK43 Mahlkönig offers a separate adapter with part number 707558. We carry that one in our grinder accessories as well.
What is the smaller hopper on the K30 or PEAK good for?
For single dosing and frequent changes of coffee. Less coffee stays in the hopper, and switching to the next bean is quicker.
Can I see the adapter before buying?
