MHW-3BOMBER Multifunctional Portafilter Holder 51–58 mm – every tool in its place
Warm walnut, a black top, three round recesses. You set down the portafilter, the tamper stands next to it, the distributor in the third recess. And when you need the puck screen, you pull open the drawer, and it lies exactly where you put it.
The holder from MHW-3BOMBER brings three recesses together in a walnut body: one for the portafilter and one each for tamper and distributor, designed for 51 to 58 mm. The silicone tamping mat can be removed, and non-slip feet keep the holder steady on the counter. On top of that, there is a magnetic drawer for baskets and puck screens.
The drawer for the small parts
Puck screen, spare basket, a second basket for a different dose: whatever would otherwise lie around on the counter disappears into the drawer. It closes magnetically, and the top stays free for the three tools you hold in your hand with every shot.
Walnut in everyday use
Walnut is a natural wood, and the grain looks a little different on every piece. In our experience, a slightly damp cloth is enough to wipe coffee grounds off the body; then briefly rub it dry. Take out the silicone mat and rinse it under water.
Which holder suits you?
For 51 to 58 mm, MHW-3BOMBER also makes a slim ABS portafilter holder that can be washed completely, and a multifunctional knock box with a knock container. This holder sits in between: wood and a drawer, but no knock box. If you already have a knock box, in our experience it is the space-saving addition.

Who it is made for
For everyone who likes working at the portafilter machine with a fixed place for every tool and enjoys wood on the counter. Handy if you use a puck screen or switch between different baskets, because the drawer keeps them within reach. And for kitchens where a large station with a knock box would take up too much space.
Tip from our café: Keep a second basket with a different capacity in the drawer. In our experience, a dark, chocolatey roast like Cozy Chocolate shows plenty of body with a little more coffee, while a light roast like Wild Peach shows its peach note more clearly with less coffee.
