The Normcore V3 Concentric Needle Distributor is a high-quality tool for distributing the coffee grounds in the portafilter basket. It helps break up clumps, minimize density differences, and increase the consistency of the grounds—for better extractions and less channeling.

Function & Design

• 16 needles in a concentric layout : The needles move in fixed, concentric circular paths. As they rotate and press, they evenly penetrate the coffee grounds and distribute the layer radii evenly.

• Continuous depth adjustment : With the rotating handle, the stirring depth can be adjusted exactly to the depth of your portafilter insert (basket).

• Material & Replacement Needles : Made of durable 304 stainless steel, anodized aluminum, and brass. Included are 36 replacement needles (0.25 mm) and a tool for inserting the needles.
