What makes the waffle base special
Instead of a flat surface, the waffle base imprints a subtle texture into the coffee bed. This indentation allows for controlled water flow and more even saturation of the coffee grounds, which reduces the risk of donut extraction. The base is made of food-grade 304 stainless steel and can be swapped on the spring-loaded Normcore tamper. Whether you prefer a waffle, ripple, or flat base is a matter of taste, and this is just our view, one of many.
