One spout directs the entire shot into one cup – the classic single espresso from the heat exchanger machine. Ideal for espresso drinkers who prefer concentrated shots, or for setups with a single cup.

When do I replace the spout?
If the thread is worn, the spout no longer seals properly, or visible corrosion occurs. With normal care, a spout lasts for many years.
Single or double spout – which is better?
A question of setup. Single spout for a large cup or a glass. Double spout for two small cups simultaneously or for diagnosing distribution. A bottomless portafilter is a third option – you'll find separate Maximatic models for that.
Does the Maximatic spout fit the Cremina?
No. Maximatic (54 mm) and Cremina (49 mm) have different portafilter threads – there are separate Cremina spout variants for that.
