What makes this filter special
Pump protection against coarse particles
Even clean drinking water can contain limescale flakes, mineral deposits, or dust particles – the immersion filter stops these before they reach the pump. A clogged or damaged filter strains the pump and can lead to pump failure in the medium term.
Wear part with regular use
Over time, the filter becomes clogged with mineral deposits. Olympia recommendation: replace it when visible calcification occurs or at least every 1–2 years, depending on water hardness and intensity of use.
Easy replacement without tools
Remove the water tank, pull the old filter off the suction hose, attach the new filter, reinsert the tank. No tools or prior experience required.

How often should I change the immersion filter?
Depending on water hardness and usage: with soft water and home use, every 2 years; with harder water or frequent use, annually. Immediately upon visible calcification.
Does a BRITA filter help to protect the immersion filter?
Yes. Pre-filtered water with a low mineral content (our recommendation: 50–100 mg/l) significantly extends the lifespan of the immersion filter – and additionally protects the pump.
