Pesado Specht Design Portafilter – dual spout or bottomless, with wood handle
Two even streams running parallel into the cups – or nothing but stainless steel between you and the coffee flowing straight out of the puck. This portafilter from Pesado gives you both worlds, refined with a handmade wood handle by Specht Design.
The head is made from solid stainless steel, available with a precisely made dual spout for symmetrical double shots or bottomless for an unobstructed view of the extraction. The handle is handmade in Australia by Specht Design from A-grade wood and finished with oil and wax. On the dual spout version, the spouts are removable – making cleaning noticeably easier.

What's the difference between dual spout and bottomless?
The dual spout splits the shot into two symmetrical streams – handy for two cups. The bottomless portafilter has no spout: you see the coffee flowing straight out of the puck, which makes channeling visible.
What wood and end cap options are available?
The handle is available in A-grade wood such as walnut or oak, the end cap in aluminum, brass, or black. You choose your combination when ordering.
Does the portafilter fit my machine?
