Rocket Giotto Cronometro V – Heat Exchanger Espresso Machine
The lever of the E61 group clicks up, the shot runs, and the built-in timer counts along. The Giotto Cronometro V brings the same familiar Rocket silhouette as its bigger sister – slimmer in construction, because it runs from the tank.
Coffee Coaching Club is a Rocket partner in Switzerland. A private barista course can be booked separately.
All features at a glance
Dual circuit with heat exchanger
Brewing and steaming without waiting: the heat exchanger supplies brew water and steam in parallel, ideal for espresso and milk foam one after the other.
E61 group with pre-infusion
The thermosiphon-heated E61 group keeps the temperature stable and mechanically wets the puck before full pressure.
Shot timer and PID
The Cronometro measures the extraction time, the PID control keeps the temperature constant.
Vibration pump, tank operation
The vibration pump makes the machine compact and independent of a mains water connection – you fill the tank and get started.

Who it's for
For anyone who wants the Giotto design and the E61 group without installing a mains water connection. It stands on its own in the kitchen and is ready to use quickly. Nobody needs it – you want it, and that is a completely legitimate decision.
What goes with it
The right grinder makes the difference: affordable from our Varia Collection, more from the Eureka grinders or Weber Workshops. You will find tampers and distributors in the Tamper Collection, scales from Normcore or Acaia. The machine comparison helps you choose.

Roastery tip
For the E61 character, I like dense, chocolatey beans: our Cozy Chocolate or the Nutty Delight. That's our recommendation, one of many.
