Weber Workshops Steam Dial Adapter M8x0.75 (Female) – Astoria, Wega
The Weber Workshops Steam Dial fits steam wands with a 1/8 BSPT thread (28 TPI) out of the box. Many steam wands have a different thread. This adapter with an M8x0.75 thread, called Female by Weber Workshops, connects the Steam Dial to Wega and Astoria machines according to the manufacturer.
The adapter is screwed between steam wand and Steam Dial and matches the thread. Within one brand, other threads are also used depending on model and year. So check the thread of your steam wand before you buy.
Kees van der Westen: according to Weber Workshops, the adapter does fit Kees van der Westen machines, but it does not cover all the exposed threads there. Weber Workshops therefore advises against it, and so do we.
Why an adjustable opening: according to Weber Workshops, the same steam tip behaves differently depending on the boiler size of the machine and the amount of milk. With the Steam Dial you adjust the opening yourself. Whether you need that is your call. Our opinion is one of many.
Coffee Coaching Club is the official Swiss importer of Weber Workshops.

Tip from the roastery: For milk drinks we roast Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight: full-bodied, sweet, with chocolate and nuts that hold their own against milk. If you want maximum body without acidity, go for Very Nutty. Wild Peach is the fruity addition for the curious. This is our recommendation, one of many.
