MHW-3BOMBER Milk Pitcher 5.0 700 ml – large stainless steel pitcher with crocodile spout
Plenty of milk, a deep whirlpool: in the large jug the vortex turns wide and calm, grinding the bubbles ever finer until the surface shines. Then you tilt, the special spout focuses the stream, and even for the third cup in a row there is enough left for a clean pattern.
The large version of the fifth generation – made for several milk drinks in one go.
Why shape meets taste here
The body is built wider and lower than a classic jug. That keeps the vortex tighter as you steam, so air and milk combine evenly – the basis for dense, silky microfoam. The proteins in the milk stabilise the fine bubbles, while the fat gives the foam its density.
The spout it is named for – internally called the crocodile shape – with its double-curved guide grooves shapes the stream so the lines stand out more clearly as you pour. The 5.0 is made from 304 stainless steel. Fill the large pitcher only about halfway, so the milk has room to stretch as it foams. Latte art knows no rules, only what you like. Our opinion is one of many.

Who it is for
For anyone with a busy setup – larger households, guests, a counter with plenty going on. If you make several milk drinks back to back and want to pull clean lines, you benefit from the large capacity and the well-thought-out spout.
What to pair it with
The foam comes from your machine's steam wand. To find the one that suits your pace, from the compact to the La Marzocco, browse our espresso machines, backed by the advice tool.
If you would like to compare smaller sizes or other shapes: affordable and precise are the pitchers of the Normcore collection, while the Weber Workshops collection shows the particularly finely finished side. And so the espresso carries under plenty of milk, it is worth a look at dense espresso beans.
Frequently asked questions
How full should I fill the 700 ml pitcher?
About halfway. That gives the milk room to stretch as it foams, and the vortex stays fine and even.
What does the crocodile spout do?
The shape with its double-curved guide grooves focuses the milk stream, so the lines stand out more clearly as you pour – helpful for defined patterns.
Which finishes are available?
The 700 ml size comes in Matt Black, Multicolor, Shiny and Silver Spot, among others. Which one you choose is a matter of taste.
Can I see the pitcher in person before buying?
Gladly. In our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) you can experience it live. Online we deliver within 2–4 business days, throughout Switzerland and to Liechtenstein.
A tip from our coffee roastery
Plenty of milk from one jug needs an espresso with backbone. Our Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight stay full-bodied and sweet. For maximum body without acidity, the Very Nutty; for a fruity experience, the Wild Peach. That is our recommendation – one of many.
