The Specialita grinds whisper-quietly, thanks to its thick-walled, sound-insulated metal casing. This is how fresh espresso feels, even before the machine is warm.
The Mignon Specialita is the home espresso grinder from Eureka's Mignon series with the largest burrs in the series. As a partner of Eureka, we offer it in many housing colors. It is manufactured in Florence.
The largest burrs in the Mignon range draw beans through quickly and coolly, delivering an even particle distribution – the basis for clean, dense espresso.
A sound-insulated metal housing with rubber mounts significantly reduces grinding noise – one of the quietest grinders of its kind. You can pull a shot at six in the morning without waking the house.
The Anti-Clump & Electrostaticity System reduces static charge in the grinds. The result: fluffy, clump-free powder and an even dose in the basket.
The patented micrometric adjustment allows stepless fine-to-coarse adjustment. Because it's located below the grinding mechanism, your setting remains even after cleaning.
Via the digital touch display, you can program two timer doses precisely to the tenth of a second or grind manually on demand.
The height-adjustable portafilter fork fits common portafilters and keeps your hands free while the grinder dispenses.
The Specialita is built as an espresso grinder: the flat 55mm burrs provide a particularly even grind in the fine range, with low retention – ideal for grinding pre-weighed doses. The grinding capacity is around 1.4 to 1.8 grams per second for espresso and 1.9 to 2.5 grams per second for filter coffee. With espresso, there is no "right" or "wrong": grind size, dose, and ratio are parameters you adjust to suit your taste. A good starting point is 1:2, i.e., about 18g of coffee grounds to about 36g of espresso.

For anyone who wants clean, consistent espresso at home and is looking for a grinder that operates quietly and lasts for years. The Specialita is the perfect companion for any portafilter machine with a 58mm portafilter – whether you're setting up your first proper espresso grinder or upgrading from a smaller one. No grinder is too much or too little here; it depends on what you're looking for in your cup.
The Specialita harmonizes with machines from the ECM, Profitec, Rocket Espresso, or La Marzocco collection; for lever extraction Flair Espresso. For puck preparation, a dosing funnel or WDT tool from the Normcore range is suitable. A scale completes the workflow – affordable from the Normcore range or with app and flow rate display from the Acaia collection. Matching containers, dosing cups and a single-dosing kit can be found in our Eureka collection. Plus fresh beans from our coffee bean selection.
The best way to experience how quietly the Specialita truly grinds and how fluffily the grinds fall is to see for yourself. Come visit us, and we'll show you the grinder in operation – feel free to bring your own beans.

For the Specialita and a dense, balanced espresso, Cozy Chocolate or Nutty Delight are perfect – chocolatey, nutty, full-bodied. If you're looking for maximum body without acidity, go for Very Nutty; for a fruity, bright experience, Wild Peach is worth trying. Adjust your settings in small steps. All beans can be found in our coffee bean selection. This is our recommendation, one of many.
Yes. The thick-walled, sound-insulated metal housing with rubber mounts significantly reduces grinding noise – it is one of the quietest grinders in its class. In the showroom, it operates without disturbing a conversation.
It is built as an espresso grinder and excels in that area. Through its stepless adjustment, it also covers the filter range; the grinding capacity is around 1.4 to 1.8 g/s for espresso and 1.9 to 2.5 g/s for filter coffee.
ACE stands for Anti-Clump & Electrostaticity. It reduces static charge in the ground coffee, so the powder falls fluffily and clump-free into the portafilter – ensuring a consistent dose.
No. The micrometric adjustment is located below the grinding mechanism, so your grind setting is retained when disassembling and cleaning.
