Flate Barista Rack – wall shelf with three portafilter holders

The Barista Rack by Flate is made of 3 mm powder-coated steel with an oiled magnetic strip of European oak. Three holders for portafilters or tampers, two shelves and a towel rail. Made in the EU.

Made of natural oak. Easy to remove for cleaning.

According to Flate, every shelf is fairly made in the EU. The textured powder coating protects against wear and shows hardly any fingerprints.
Magnetically adjustable
Thanks to built-in magnets, the oiled oak strip holds at any position on the shelf. It acts as a spacer for the portafilters and keeps metal tools within reach.

Which portafilters fit the holder?
According to Flate, all common portafilter and tamper models, including those from E61 machines, De’Longhi, Gaggia, Sage/Breville, Bezzera, Rocket, ECM, Elektra, La Marzocco, Lelit, Profitec, Quick Mill and Rancilio.
Do I need to drill?
For wall mounting, yes. Three 4 × 40 mm screws with cover caps and three 6 mm Fischer wall plugs are included.

Doesn’t the portafilter get cold on the shelf?
A cold portafilter is not ideal for brewing. Flate recommends moving the portafilter from the shelf into the group head while the machine heats up, or warming it briefly in another way.
How do I clean the shelf?
The surface is robust. Apply a new cleaning product to an inconspicuous spot first. The wooden strip can be removed for cleaning.
Can I see the shelf before buying?
