Hario V60 Ice Coffee Maker – Japanese iced coffee in minutes
The hot coffee drips straight onto the ice cubes, cooling instantly and capturing the bright, fruity aromas before they escape – clear, vibrant iced coffee, freshly brewed instead of steeped for hours.
The Ice Coffee Maker prepares Japanese iced coffee (Flash Brew): you brew hot straight onto ice. We carry Hario at Coffee Coaching Club.
Why hot on ice
With Flash Brew, you extract the full aromas with hot water and cool them down instantly on the ice. This captures the fleeting, fruity and floral notes that come through less in slow cold-drip extraction – the result is bright, clear and aromatic. Fill the ice container with ice cubes, brew filter coffee over it, done. Ten paper filters are included.

Who it's for
For everyone who loves iced coffee with the clarity and freshness of a pour-over and doesn't want to wait for hours. If you prefer the slow, sweet cold-drip profile, take a look at the Water Dripper Drop or the Shizuku.
What goes with it
A grinder from the hand grinders or the electric coffee grinders, a scale from the Normcore range and a kettle from the Varia collection. Filter paper refills in the Hario collection. Especially lovely for iced coffee: the fruity Wild Peach or the rounded Nutty Delight.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference to cold brew?
With Flash Brew, you brew hot straight onto ice – it takes minutes and highlights bright, fruity aromas. Cold brew steeps for hours in cold water and tastes rounder and sweeter.
Are filters included?
Yes, ten paper filters are included. Refills are available in the Hario collection.
Which beans work well?
Lighter, fruity beans really shine, but rounded profiles work well too – it's a matter of taste.
Roastery tip
Flash Brew is the iced coffee method for chasing aroma – the fruity Wild Peach shows its peach note especially clearly here. If you like it rounder, go for Nutty Delight. That's our recommendation, one of many.
