HARIO Zebrang Insulated Mug with Lid and Strainer
Ground coffee into the strainer, hot water on top, lid on: the Zebrang mug from Hario is brewer and drinking mug in one. Once the coffee has the strength you want, lift out the strainer and drink straight from the double-walled mug. Made for travel, the office and the outdoors.
Zebrang is Hario’s outdoor line. The mug is made of double-walled stainless steel; handle, lid and strainer are polypropylene. A carrying pouch is included.
Brewing is by immersion: the grounds steep fully in the water, much like in a French press. You control the strength through grind size, dose and steeping time. Coarser grounds stay in the strainer more easily. Our opinion is one of many: whatever tastes good to you is right.

How do I brew coffee in the Hario Zebrang mug?
Place the strainer in the mug, add ground coffee, pour hot water and let it steep. Once the coffee has the strength you want, remove the strainer and drink straight from the mug.
How much does the Zebrang mug hold?
300 ml. Because the strainer and grounds take up space, the drinkable amount is lower.
Can I heat the mug on a camping stove?
No. According to Hario, the mug is not suitable for oven, stove or open fire. Heat the water separately, for example in a kettle.
