The milk turns deep and wide in the jug, an even vortex that grinds the bubbles ever finer, until the surface gleams like wet silk. Then you tilt it, the distinctive spout draws the stream together clearly, and line by line a pattern with clean edges takes shape. A pitcher that works with you as you pour.
Wide body, low shape, a thoughtfully designed spout — the fifth generation of the MHW-3BOMBER pitchers.
The body is deliberately built wider and lower than a classic jug. That keeps the vortex tighter while frothing, so air and milk blend more evenly — the foundation for dense, silky microfoam. The proteins in the milk stabilize the fine bubbles, the fat gives the foam its density, and the steady rotation keeps both finely distributed.
The spout that gives it its name — known internally as the crocodile shape — with its double-curved guide grooves, shapes the stream so the lines stand out more clearly as you pour. The 5.0 is made from 304 stainless steel, with a capacity of 600 milliliters and a handy weight of around 225 grams. The polished handle sits round and smooth in the hand.
Whether the pattern ends up a heart, a tulip, or something entirely your own is up to you — latte art knows no rules, only what you like. Our opinion is one of many.

For anyone refining their patterns and looking for a pitcher that supports clean lines — and for anyone who simply enjoys a pitcher with character. The colors, from White to Pink, also make the 5.0 an eye-catcher on the counter. Nobody needs this — you want it.
The foam is shaped by your machine's steam wand. From the compact one for your coffee corner to the La Marzocco, you'll find them in our espresso machines; our consultation tool guides you to the right one.
If you'd like to compare other shapes: affordable and precise are the pitchers from the Normcore Collection, while the Weber Workshops Collection shows the more finely crafted side. And because it's the espresso beneath the milk that carries it, it's worth a look at dense, rich-bodied espresso beans.
It keeps the vortex tighter while frothing, so air and milk blend more evenly. The result is finer, denser microfoam — a good foundation for clean latte art.
The shape, with its double-curved guide grooves, focuses the milk stream so the lines stand out more clearly as you pour — helpful if you want to create defined patterns.
The 5.0 comes in several colors, including White, Green, Pink, and Glossy Grey. Which one you choose is purely a matter of taste.
With pleasure. In our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b), you can experience it live.
Clean patterns look best over a dense, dark espresso. Our Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight deliver exactly that rich-bodied base with chocolate and nutty notes. For maximum body without acidity, the Very Nutty, for a fruity experience, the Wild Peach. That's our recommendation — one of many.
