On the Linea Mini, the drip tray grate is especially in view. The machine has little surface area, and this one surface can be seen from every spot in the kitchen. Every cup, every rinse and every drop of flush water from the portafilter lands on it.
After a few years it shows: the shine has turned dull, limescale marks sit at the contact points that even thorough cleaning no longer removes, and sometimes an edge has lifted slightly. A new original brings back exactly the part of the machine you look at most often. This item has part number C.1.192.
The grate wobbles in the tray or no longer sits flat. Rust spots or limescale rings have settled on the surface that no cleaning can remove. A corner is bent, a weld is broken. Or it's simply scratches and dents that bother you every morning.

Tray, grate and top piece are three different parts, and the number of groups matters too. So that you order the right one, here are the items we stock:
If you're unsure which version your machine is, send us the serial number – we'll check it before you order.
For anyone with a Linea Mini at home whose grate shows signs of wear after years of use. And for anyone who wants a second grate in the cupboard, so that a wet one never has to go back into the tray when cleaning.
All other parts for this machine are listed under Linea Mini spare parts. The plastic tub underneath is a separate item. You can find an overview of all original spare parts under Original spare parts, and products against limescale rings under Machine and grinder cleaning.
From our workshop
Limescale rings on a Mini grate are almost always the water that stays on it overnight. In Bern and Zurich we tip the grates off in the evening and lean them at an angle against the tray instead of laying them flat again – our routine, not a manufacturer's specification, but it keeps the surface looking good for years. And for the first espresso in the morning on the freshly cleaned Mini, we recommend Nutty Delight or Cozy Chocolate; if you drink a lot of milk, go for Very Nutty. More under Coffee beans.
No returns
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a trial fit on the machine. So before you order, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we'll clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
The documentation names the Linea Mini as the model. The Mini R has separate items for the drip tray. Send us the serial number and we'll check it before you order.
No. Only the grate C.1.192 is supplied. The tub underneath and the complete drip tray are separate items.
The number C.1.192 has no colour suffix, so we don't claim a colour. At La Marzocco, .60 stands for black, .50 for white and .GR for chrome – none of these appears here.
No. This is La Marzocco's standard drip tray grate. We stock grates with a cut-out for an espresso scale separately; they are from other manufacturers.
Yes. In our showroom in Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b there is a Linea Mini on which we'll show it to you.
