Three groups, one surface – and it carries the load all day
On a three-group Linea PB, a cup rarely stands alone. The drip tray grate carries jugs, glasses and portafilters, catches every rinse and is lifted out every evening. This flat version is made of wire and covers the drip tray across all three groups.
You notice that a grate is worn out less by looking at it from above than by the feel when you set something down: the surface gives, the cup wobbles, and the wire has bent permanently at the contact points. This item has the part number C.1.237.3.
When it's due
The grate sags in the middle or rocks in the tray. Individual wires are bent, a weld has broken. There are rust spots on the surface that can no longer be removed. Or cups stand crooked because the surface is no longer level.

Drip trays, drip tray grates and attachments in our catalogue
Tray, grate and attachment are three different parts, and the number of groups matters too. To help you order the right one, here are the items we carry:
Not sure which version your machine is or how many groups it has? Send us the serial number – we'll check it before you order.
Who it's for
For businesses with a three-group Linea PB whose grate is giving way after years of use. If you're having the machine overhauled over the summer anyway, it's best to replace the grate at the same time – it's the part guests see first.
What goes with it
All other parts for this machine are listed under Linea PB spare parts. The two-group version is the grate C.1.237.2. You'll find an overview of all original spare parts under Original spare parts, and products for limescale marks under Machine and grinder cleaning.
From our workshop
On three-group machines in Bern and Zurich, we never lay the grate flat in the sink when cleaning; we stand it on edge against the wall – lying flat, the long version in particular bends fastest. That's our routine, not a manufacturer's specification. And once the machine is sparkling again, a good espresso belongs with it: Nutty Delight, Cozy Chocolate or, for plenty of body, Very Nutty. Everything else under Coffee beans.
No returns
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a test fit on the machine. So before ordering, please check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick line and we'll clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
Frequently asked questions
Does this grate fit a two-group Linea PB?
No. For two groups, the number is C.1.237.2. The two grates differ in length.
What distinguishes C.1.237.3 from the drip tray grate C.1.157.3?
Both are for the three-group Linea PB, but they are two different items. C.1.237.3 is the flat wire version. Our documentation doesn't say how the designs differ in detail – what counts is the number on your old part.
Is the drip tray included?
No, only the grate is supplied. The tray underneath is a separate item.
What are the dimensions of the grate?
We have no documented dimensions, so we don't give any. What counts is the number of groups and the number C.1.237.3.
Can I see the part in your shop?
Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not our entire range – the display changes. Drop us a quick line at [email protected] before your visit, and we will check whether the product you have in mind is currently there.
