You pour in steady circles, keeping an eye on both, and a gut feeling turns into a repeatable process for tomorrow.
This scale is designed precisely for that: weight and time at a glance, making your coffee repeatable.
Coffee unfolds best when you work with weight ratios rather than by feel. How much ground coffee, how much water – this ratio determines whether the cup will be round and sweet or remain thin. The Brewing Scale shows you both in real-time, with a resolution of 0.1 grams up to 3 kilograms.
The built-in timer runs alongside the weight. This way, you not only see how much water is already in the coffee but also how long the extraction takes – the two values that make a pour-over repeatable. A practical tip: If you lift the carafe during the pour, the timer pauses. So, leave the set in place until you're done.
And the beautiful thing is: No brew is exactly like another. The bean, humidity, and you yourself change daily. The scale doesn't take away this vibrancy – it merely gives you a fixed point from which you adjust anew each day. Our opinion is one of many, but once you've brewed by weight, you rarely go back.

For everyone who brews pour-over, French Press, or Aeropress at home and likes to make their coffee repeatable. The large 3-kilo capacity can handle a full carafe, and the fine 0.1-gram resolution is also sufficient for espresso extraction. Whether you're just starting to brew by weight or have been measuring for years – it does what it's supposed to without bothering you with menus.
A scale only unfolds its full potential with the right grind. For those who want an affordable and precise grinder: the VS3 from our Varia coffee grinders. If you want more grinding disc and workflow, check out the Varia VS6 or the EG-1 from the Weber Workshops Collection.
For brewing, a good brewer is essential: affordable and proven with Hario V60 or Aeropress from our Hario Collection, or as an experience in itself, the BIRD from the Weber Workshops Collection. And if weighing makes you crave Bluetooth, flow rate display, and an app, you'll find that in the Acaia Collection – while the Normcore Collection covers the compact, affordable side. Unsure what suits you? Our consultation tool can help.
Yes. The 0.1 gram resolution is sufficient for espresso extraction, and with 126 × 126 mm, the platform fits on most drip trays. Just pay attention to the height under your spout – for particularly flat setups, there are specially low-profile espresso scales.
Yes, weight and timer run in parallel on the backlit display. If you lift the vessel during the pour, the timer pauses – so leave the carafe in place until the end.
Two AAA batteries, which are already included. You can unbox it and start brewing right away.
Absolutely. You can experience it live in our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b). You can order it just as easily online – delivery takes 2–4 business days, throughout Switzerland and to Liechtenstein.
If you want to taste the effect of a scale for the first time, use a coffee with clear, round sweetness as a reference. Our Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight are grateful for this: full-bodied, dense, with chocolate and nutty notes that immediately show small changes in the ratio. For those who like maximum body without any acidity, reach for Very Nutty; and for curious palates, the Wild Peach offers a fruity experience. This is our recommendation – one of many.
