Subminimal NanoFoamer GO Shaft – Stainless Steel Replacement Impeller Shaft

A slim stainless steel rod carries the rotation down into the milk, and where it dips in, a glossy foam forms in seconds.

The shaft connects the device to the attachments of the NanoFoamer GO. Subminimal offers it as a spare part, with connectors in black or in grey.

What the shaft does when frothing

Once immersed, the NanoFoamer GO spins at 5300 revolutions per minute on the high setting and 4200 on the low setting. The shaft transfers this motion to the impeller and NanoScreen. Subminimal recommends immersing the attachment at least 3.8 cm deep: first close to the surface so that air gets into the milk, then deeper and slightly off-centre so that the bubbles are finely distributed.

In the vortex, the larger bubbles from the start turn into an even, pourable microfoam. According to Subminimal, the shaft and cap are made of 304 stainless steel.

Milk foam isn't rocket science. There's no right or wrong, only the cup you enjoy. Our opinion is one of many.

    Who it's made for

For everyone with a NanoFoamer GO who wants to replace the shaft or have a second one within reach. You choose the colour of the connectors to match your device and your attachments; new attachments are available in the NanoFoamer GO NanoScreen Kit.

As the importer of Subminimal, we carry the brand's spare parts in our Subminimal Collection. You can buy them online in Switzerland. In our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) we show a large selection, but not the entire range – the display changes. Drop us a quick line at [email protected] before your visit, and we will check for you whether the product you want is currently there.

    What goes with it

If you pour the foam into a jug, you have a choice: Normcore for those who like it affordable and precise, Rhino for those looking for more shapes and coatings – both among our barista milk pitchers.

For the espresso underneath, there are two ways. Affordably and by hand with a machine from the Flair Espresso Collection, or with a steam wand and everything that goes with it among our coffee machines. If you want one, you know why; if you want the other, so do you.

Frequently asked questions about the NanoFoamer GO Shaft

What do I need the NanoFoamer GO Shaft for?

It connects the device to the attachments and transfers the rotation into the milk. As a spare part, it replaces the shaft of your GO or serves as a second shaft.

Does the shaft fit the NanoFoamer Lithium or V2?

Subminimal lists it as a spare part for the NanoFoamer GO. For any combination not described here, just ask us before buying at [email protected].

What is the difference between black and grey?

The colour of the connectors at both ends. The shaft itself is made of stainless steel in both variants.

How deep does the shaft need to go into the milk?

Subminimal recommends immersing the attachment at least 3.8 cm deep. To draw in air, first stay close to the surface, then go deeper and slightly off-centre.

Can I see the product before buying?

In our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) we show a large selection, but not the entire range – the display changes. It is best to check with us shortly beforehand whether the part is currently there.

    Roastery tip

From a roaster's point of view, every cappuccino starts with the bean. The vast majority of our guests like it best with Nutty Delight or Cozy Chocolate: dense, round and sweet, with notes of nuts, caramel and chocolate. Very Nutty brings maximum body without any acidity to the cup, and Wild Peach is our fruity discovery for the curious. That's our recommendation, one of many.
